Creative Content Associate – Travel Required

Position Summary: 

The Associate, Creative Content will shoot, edit, convert, and upload content to appropriate websites, and create asset libraries for all existing projects and future developments. This position will travel extensively throughout Longfellow’s portfolio as needed. The Associate, Creative Content will also assist with writing titles, descriptions, closed captioning and tags for photos and videos along with video compilations and editing. Job responsibility has a strong emphasis on showcasing physical properties as well as amenity platforms and offerings of Longfellow Real Estate Partners through still photography, B-Roll video, and conduct on-site interviews. This position will work under the direction of the Associate Director, Corporate Communications, in cooperation with team members from the Marketing Vertical, across portfolio regions and functionalities. Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing products and design is of the utmost importance.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and set-up all photography, video, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Shoot video, take photos of Longfellow projects in all phases to develop a full asset library of Longfellow’s national portfolio.
  • Showcase Elevate, Longfellow’s proprietary tenant hospitality and experience platform, and reinforce corporate value proposition through content.
  • Research industry and competitor trends to suggest and execute new content ideas.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Vertical on specific projects and assignments.
  • Craft stories that are consistent with Longfellow’s messaging and brand communication goals.
  • Works in conjunction with Associate, Social Content to produce photo and video collateral to reinforce firm’s online and social voice.
  • Pack, and transport video camera, tripods, lighting, microphones, and other associated equipment to all sites and other necessary locations.
  • Take still photographs of Longfellow events both internal and external (outreach).
  • Capture staff photos (as needed) to create professional headshots and collateral for the company.
  • Manage all created media by importing and backing up all media files.
  • Editing and creating full scale videos and commercials with the Communications Vertical by using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Final Cut software.
  • Editing and creating photos by using Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Marketing Verticals throughout the post-production process.
  • Export, compress, and upload videos and photographs to unlisted and public internet sites.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Cinematography and Film, or related field is preferred.
  • Proficient using content software such as – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut for video and Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Must have experience filming, directing and editing video.
  • Proficient using DLSR, video, audio and lighting equipment with demonstrable library of still shots.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a creative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with innate attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on projects while also collaborating as a strong team member.
